Marchwood Power are now enjoying their newly refurbished Control Room:

“I would just like to say on behalf of Marchwood Power Ltd., how delighted we all are with the recent Control Room Refurbishment, so a big thank you to you all.

Everyone I have seen and spoken to thus far, here at Marchwood Power like what they see and our management fully approve with what you and your team have achieved.

All work, as promised by yourself was carried out within the timescales predicted, professionally and fluidly without interruption to the day to day running of the plant here at Marchwood.  Communications were always first class, with any issues dealt with quickly and without question, so again thanks for that.

Comms Room Services is now a ISO 27001 Registered firm.

ISO 27001 is an internationally recognised certificate for evaluating how securely an organisation manages and stores its information and data.

16 Nov 2011: Marchwood Power

Work is about to commence on a new control room refurbishment project at Marchwood Power in Southampton who provide electricity to the National Grid.

 

The project involves the complete strip out and decoration of the existing room, laying carpet tiles and installing custom made control room furniture and cabling. 

 

Marchwood Power will be enjoying a newly refurbished control room in time for Christmas.

 

30 Sep 2011: Surrey County Council

A new green data centre for Surrey County Council is well underway. 

 

Comms Room Services were selected due to their ability to undertake comprehensive analysis of power usage and cost savings and also for their intensive design capability.

 

The project requirement was to design and build a modern, safe and operationally reliable data centre server room that would eliminate unscheduled outages and the resulting service failures to the public and for the data centre to be ready to go live in April 2012.
